I was at the Victoria Inn for a few days at a conference. I ended up eating at Chicago Joe's three times. One meal was a buffet. Two were off the menu. I had no complaints. Food was decent but not outstanding. My best meal was a rack of ribs. Prices are average for a hotel. Staff were a bit variable as I had excellent service one day but only fair the next. If you are at the hotel and need a meal don't be afraid to stay put and eat here. Overall a decent experience.

Surprisingly decent food and atmosphere for a restaurant obviously designed as a convention breakfast place. Good place to enjoy dinner and a book. The ribs were great, Moosehead fantastic and the onion rings spot on. Expect to use a knife to cut your garden salad down to size.

Bonjour ! I had a conference over there at The Victoria Inn . I stayed the night . I ate lunch AND dinner at the bar/"restaurant" tables . The waitress in the afternoon , followed by the waiter in the evening were simply amazing. So friendly & smiling . I notified them right away I was gluten intolerant . They were knowledgeable of the gluten-free options and they suggested the best meals! ( Thank you for feeding me.:) NOTE : Very Clean Place . The hotel / restaurant/bar / hallways/conference rooms.

Visited Chicago Joe's for Burger Week - burger was very average. There was nothing wrong with it, but I was not overly impressed. The picture of the burger for Burger Week was not the same as what we got - there was not a lot of mashed potatoes, there were only a few small cut up pieces of kielbasa, and the sour cream seemed like it was missing. I would compare the food quality to Montana's or Perkins.

I'm in town for a week for work, found this place on Yelp and thought I'd give it a try. Had the Big Joe's Dinner Platter, it was excellent! Got my wings with the Lemon Pepper seasoning, they were phenomenal! The ribs were pretty good too... Not fall off the bone excellent but still quite tasty. Shrimp were yummy and the garlic mashed potatoes were excellent! Will definitely be back during my visit! Staff was outstanding!
